Chris Cantell Discusses Odd News: Pohovorme si troška o šťastí

Zrátajme si jedna a jedna! Žijeme vo svete nešťastí. Vezmime si len časté nepredvídateľné pohromy spôsobené počasím, všeobecne rastúce ceny, obavy z pokračujúcej ekonomickej recesie na všetkých frontoch, bulvár a negatívne večerné správy, hodiny, dni a týždne, mesiace a roky strávené nadávaním na politikov legálne kradnúcich naše peniaze, šokujúci mediálny tlak, nespravodlivá bieda v krajinách tretieho sveta, kde by sme radšej miesto jedla poslali atómové rakety.
Zvyšujúca sa kriminalita, xenofóbne spoločenstvá, drogy ponúkané deťom, prostitúcia a na vrchole všetkého celá ta americká materská starostlivosť o vojnové konflikty po celom šírom svete.
Byť troška uvedomelý znamená zosypať sa s depresiou, či začať nenávidieť svet. No možno nie až takto extrémne, no i tie "najpohodovejšie" mysle si musia uvedomiť, že toto nie je prechádzka ružovým sadom. Nie ešte miesto na výchovu detí.
Pán Ronald Inglehart strávil 17 rokov riešením otázky šťastia. Naivný?
Michiganská univerzita politických vied uskutočnila výskum v 52 krajinách po celom svete. Odpovede na dve jednoduché otázky, a to, či sa opýtaní cítia štastne a spokojne ukázali, že v práve 40 krajinách sa ľudia javia štastnejší, kým index šťastia poklesol v ostatných 12 krajinách.
Výskum ukázal, že dáni su najspokojnejší ľudia na svete. A to je pravda! Po takmer pol ročnom pobyte v tejto bráne do Škandinávie, musím potvrdiť, že po celej krajine sa vznáša niečo až neuveriteľne ukľudňujúce. Dobrá ekonomika? Aktívny komunitný život? Ekologická agrokultúra? Športovanie, záhradkárčenie v dedinkách? Alebo neskutočne civilizované prostredie?
Kto vie, ale nepochodíte zle, keď sa zoznámite s dánom (i počas jeho pracovnej doby). Vedia byť neuveriteľne milí a nápomocní. Dokonca Vás pomaly obíjmú, keď si prídete pre papiere. No i tak toto je len jednostranný náhľad dovnútra dánskej kultúry. Iste, má svoje temné stránky, ale vo všeobecnosti, v Dánsku nič nie je nemožné.
Aby sme sa však dostali aj k druhej strane mince, najnespokojneším národom sa ukázali obyvatelia afrického Zimbabwe. Či to bolo zapríčinené zmanipulovanými voľbami, ktoré priniesli naspäť 6 krát odvolaného Roberta Mugawe, alebo z iných dôvodov, to je otázka na viac ako zopár blogov.
Iste, a potom tu máme ľudkov žijúcich za veľkou mlákou v Big Apple. Prekvapení, alebo nie, viac ako 81 percent američanov si myslí, že situácia sa viac ako len zhoršila za posledných 25 rokov. Niet pochýb. Uvážte všetky tie katastrofy, ktoré sa tu udiali.
Prehliadajúc si listinu štastných a neštastných národov, zdá sa až tragikomické, keď USA presvedčivo vyhlási: " Ak vy, ľudia z OSN poriadne nepotrestáte Zimbabwe, urobíme to my sami! A píšte si, my sa nebudeme nikoho pýtať!". Dosť zlé, ak si spomeniete na najvyšší národný dlh zapríčinený mierovými misiami pána Busha. Teraz je to Amerika, ktorá sedí na bedničke s dynamitom. Byť pánom Bushom, svoju energiu by som namierila na záchranu vlastných ľudí. Myslím, že potom by index svetového šťastia vyskočil až k hviezdam.
Ale kto niečo zmôže proti reči peňazí?
Akokoľvek, ľudia začínajú byť šťastnejší. A ak je to naozaj tak, takm a to spraví šťastnou, i keď by to malo byť len na chvíľku.

Zvyšujúca sa kriminalita, xenofóbne spoločenstvá, drogy ponúkané deťom, prostitúcia a na vrchole všetkého celá ta americká materská starostlivosť o vojnové konflikty po celom šírom svete.

Chris Cantell Discusses Odd News: Teach your kids how to use it

In these days when lot of various technical acquisitions are available and still more and more people have access to them because of their low prices another question appears. What about children? Lot of mobile phones and other technical devices used even in the households can have very bad influence on men's health and children's even more. Radiation of mobile phones can be very dangerous not only for pregnant women but also for children whose like playing with them very often. Except it, mobile phones can also cause unwilling subjection to phones and other similar devices. Lot of people nowadays let their children to play with cell phones and computers even when they are 2 years old. And even though in most of the cases it is very bad habit, in some special incidents it can be really helpful if your kid knows how to use your mobile phone.
One similar case happened few weeks ago. Only three-year-old Madelyn called emergency when her mother, 24-year-old Jessica Eaves fainted. The whole situation was more complicated because Madelyn's mother is pregnant. Even though this little girl couldn't realize how dangerous it could be for her pregnant mother to faint, she knows anyway there is something wrong. So this 3 years old girl took her mother's cell phone and call the emergency. Do you want to know how? Pretty easily – she remembered one song. Her mother who has a condition which can cause her frequent fainting realized that it can happen to her anytime, and as she wanted to protect herself and also little Madelyn, she taught her a very easy song. The text of this song consists of words “911” and “green”. Little girl knows this song so well, that in the first case when her mother fainted she just took her cell phone, push the buttons 9, 1 and 1 and then push the green button which is on the most cell phones used for calling.
Dispatcher asked Madelyn easy questions and so they found out where she lives. Sometimes it is not so bad, if your kid knows how to use a cell phone. But probably the most important thing is to show him how to use it, not only how to play with it. It can maybe save someone's life.

En estos días cuando existe un montón de varios chismes electrónicos y cada vez más y más gente los posee gracias a sus precios bajos, surge una pregunta. ¿Qué con niños? Los teléfonos móviles y chismes técnicos usados aún en las casas pueden tener muy mal influencia en la salud de la gente y sobre todo a los niños. La radiación de los móviles puede ser muy peligrosa no sólo para las mujeres embarazadas, sino también para los niños que suelen jugar con los móviles. Además, los móviles también pueden afectar el funcionamiento de otros móviles u otros aparatos. Mucha gente hoy en día deja sus niños jugar con sus móviles y ordenadores incluso cuando tienen sólo 2 años. En general, es el hábito muy malo, pero en algunos casos especiales puede ser realmente útil si su niño sabe usar su teléfono móvil.
Un caso similar pasó hace pocas semanas. Madelyn, una chica de tres años, llamó la emergencia cuando su madre, Jessica Eaves de 24 años se desmayó. La situación entera fue más complicada porque la madre de Madelyn estaba embarazada. Aunque esta niña no pudiera comprender en que peligro estuvo su madre, ella se dio cuenta de que algo malo había pasado. Entonces esta niña de 3 años cogió el móvil de su madre y llamó la emergencia. ¿Quiere usted saber como? Fácil - recordó una canción. Su madre que se desmaya frecuentemente comprendió que esto puede pasarle en cualquier momento, y como quiso protegerse y también a pequeña Madelyn, la enseñó una canción muy fácil. El texto de la canción consiste de palabras "911" "y verde". La niña conoce la canción tan bien, que en el primer caso cuando su madre se desmayó ella solamente cogió el móvil, empujó los botones 9, 1 y 1 y luego empujó el botón verde que está sobre la mayor parte de los móviles usado para la llamada.
El despachador hizo preguntas fáciles a Madelyn y entonces averiguaron donde vive. A veces es muy útil, si su niño sabe usar un teléfono móvil. Pero probablemente la cosa más importante es de mostrarle como usarlo, no sólo como jugar. Tal vez puede salvar la vida de alguien.

Let's count it one by one! We are living in the world of miseries. Just take more often unpredictable weather disasters, generally rising prices, fears from continuously economic recession in all fronts, bulvar and negative evening news, hours, days and weeks, months and years spent pissed off by politicians robbing our money in legal way, shocking media press, unfair poverty in the countries of third world, where instead of food we like to send our atom rockets.
Rising criminality level, still xenophobic societies, drugs offered to children, prostitution and above all this American mother moody care about war conflicts all around the world.
In this way, being little bit conscious means to get drown in year lasting depression or started to hate the world. Maybe not that extreme, but even those the most beautiful minds must realize that this is not a walk through a pink garden. Not even a place to raise children.
However, Mr. Ronald Inglehart has spent last 17 years of his life solving the question of happiness.
Naïve? University of Michigan political scientist headed up the survey in more than 52 countries all over the world. The answers to just two simple questions, whether contestants after all feel happy and comfortable proved that people feel suddenly happier in exactly 40 countries, while index of happiness fell down just in the rest of 12 ones.
To examine more, he suggests that Danish are the most satisfied people in the world. True! After living almost half a year in this gate to Scandinavia I must admit that there is something incredible relaxing all over the country. Good economics? Active community life? Ecological agriculture? Sporting, gardening villages? Or entirely civilized environment?
Who knows, but you can't get wrong when recognizing Danish (at least during his office hours).
They can be incredible kind and helpful. They can even hug you when you come for some residence papers. Well, but this would be only one sided view deep inside the Danish culture. Sure, it has it's own dark sides, but if spoken generally, in Denmark everything is possible.
To reach the bottom of the list, Zimbabwe refers to be the most unsatisfied nation. Whether caused by the last faked elections that brought 6 times sworn Robert Mugawe back to the first lines or any other reason, that would be the question for more than few blogs.
Sure, and then we have this Big Apple fellas, living abroad the Great Sea. Surprised or not, more than 81 percents of Americans think that the situation got more than worse during last 25 years.
No doubts, when considering all those catastrophies that happen there.
Browsing the list of happy and unhappy nations, seems quite tragic comedy, when U.S. confidently declares. ''If you guys in OSN won't bring Zimbabwe under strict punishment, we will do it by ourselves! And we bet you, we won't ask anybody!''
Terrible enough, if you just think about the highest national debt caused by peaceful missions of Mr. Bush. Now it is America who is sitting on the box of dynamite. Being Mr. Bush I would rather focus my energy to save my own people. After that I am sure, that the world's happiness index would jump up to the stars.
But who can do something against the money talk?
However, people are somehow getting happier. And if it's so, it makes me happy, even for a while.
Because, whatever happens, the real values don't change that much, and one still can't buy its own peace for even a mountain of green bugs.

Chris Cantell Discusses Odd News: Niekoľko slov o šťastí

Skúsme to zrátať jedno po druhom. Nikto z Vás nepochybuje, že žijeme vo svete plnom - (pekne povedané) problémov. Jednoduchá revízia nám prinesie zonam nepredpokladaných prírodných katastrof, tisícok mŕtvych, jednosmerne vzrastajúcich cien, paralyzujúceho strachu krachujúcej svetovej burzy, večerných správ plných bulvárnych a negatívnych reportáží, politikov, ktorí sa s mastnými úsmevmi predbiehajú v športovej disciplíne legálneho obohacovania sa a kľučkovania medzi zákonmi a všadeprítomnými lobistami, nespravodlivo chudobných obyvateľov, ktorým namiesto jedla oveľa radšej posielame nejaké tie jadrové hlavice. Z toho všetkého mi vyjde 23 minút znechutenia večernými televíznymi novinami, ktoré mi pokazia celý večer natoľko, že zaspávam s negatívnymi pocitmi. Samozrejme, že v spánku riešim vlastnú ekomonickú situáciu, takže ráno vstávam perketne svieža a nalíčená, schopná komparzu vo filme Nočná mora z Elm Street.
Pokiaľ je však človek len trochu viac vnímavý a citlivý, musí sa k tomu všetkému boriť aj s vlastnou depresiou či odporom k svetovým záležitostiam. Hej, sú tú aj tí šťastlivejší, v jazyku môjho sveta, tie čisté duše, ktoré radšej žijú svoj a nie cudzí život. Aby sme ale nezapadli v chmúrnych dumách, ktoré koniec koncov plodia iba daľšiu negatívnu energiu, nedá mi nespomenúť príklad istého pána Rolanda Ingleharta. Tento univerzitný politológ strávil posledných 17 rokov riešením otázky svetového šťastia. Vo svojom výskume, realizovanom po 52 krajinách sveta každoročne položil respondentom dve jednoduché otázky.
´´Cítite sa po tom všetkom, čo sa Vám tento rok stalo šťastný?´´ V druhej otázke takmer rovnakého znenia zisťoval mieru spokojnosti opýtaného nad uplynulým rokom.
Výsledky boli napriek všetkému viac než optimistické. Ľudia v 40tich krajinách sa za posledných 17 rokov začali cítiť oveľa šťastnejšími. Index štastia klesol vo zvyšných 12tich, medzi ktorými figurovali hlavne najchudobnejšie štáty južnej Afriky a Ázie.
Podľa výskumu sú najšťastnejší ľudia na svete práve Dáni. Vďaka možnosti stráviť takmer pol roka v tejto ´bráne do Škandinávie´ musím potvrdiť relatívnu pravdivosť tohoto tvrdenia. Vo vzduchu tu visí niečo veľmi oslobodzujúce a takmer až poriadkumilovné. Extrémne prenosné na každého návštevníka.
Je to spôsobné tou skvelou ekonomikou? Rušným komunitným životom či snáď ekologickým poľnohospodárstvom? Športujúcimi dôchodcami alebo azda úplne kultivovanej krajine?
Kto vie? Jedna vec je však istá. Dána vo svojich úradných hodinách si skrátka nemôžete popliesť s nikým iným. Žiari z nich to večné ´´ Áno, áno, žiaden problém´´ a ochota pomôcť. Ale tvrdiť niečo s absolútnou platnosťou by nemalo zmysel ani tu. Je isté, že dánska kultúra má svoje temné stránky, ale pokiaľ chceme hovoriť všeobecne, je pravda, že Dánsko je krajinou možností.
Naopak, na spodku rebríčka sa umiestnilo Zimbabwe, kde sa už po šiesty krát (svetovými politikmi oficiálne deklarovanými) nedemokratickými voľbami k moci dostal prezident Robert Mugawe. Riešiť otázku demokracie, pokroku a pocitu šťastia chudobného obyvateľstva, však (našťastie) nespadá do mojej kompetencie, preto prejdem k ďalšiemu nespokojnému národu, ktorými sú paradoxne xenofóbne sa usmievajúce Spojené Štáty Americké. Takmer 81 percent opýtaných tvrdí, že to s krajinou ´ide dolu vodou´. Index spokojnosti tu klesol na najnižšiu úroveň za posledných 25 rokov. Nečudo, ak sa zamyslíte nad ekonomickou a hypotekárnou krízou, rastúcimi cenami ropy, imigrantami, ktorí už napríklad v technologickom sektore predstavujú vážne nebezpečenstvo pre domácich, univerzitných pracovníkov.
Napriek tomu mi sebavedomé vyhlásenie Spojených Štátov na otázku volieb v Zimbabwe príde jemne tragikomické. Skátka a jasne diplomaticky zabalené ´´Ak Vy, páni v OSN neuvalíte voči Zimbabwe prísne sankcie, tak situáciu do svojich rúk zoberieme my, a to si píšte, že na súhlas sa nikoho pýtať nebudeme!´´ nepotrebuje žiaden komentár. No k šťastiu tiež nikoho nedovedie.
Byť však na mieste pána Busha, začala by som sa starať o najvyšší štátny dlh, ktorý zapríčinili mierové, ´´proti teroristické´´ výpravy po celom svete. Je zvláštne, že ten kto tu dnes sedí na krabici s dynamitom, ostatným hrozí prstom. Amerika by sa mohla konečne začať starať sama o seba a som si istá, že index šťastia a spokojnosti by na mnohých miestach vzlietol do vesmírnych výšav.
Napriek tomu, ak mi niekto po tých rokoch povie, že ľudia sú jednoducho šťastnejší, poteší to dokonca aj mňa. Pretože, napriek všetkému, naozajstné hodnoty sa v priebehu histórie až tak nemenia a stále platí pravda odveká, že za peniaze, nemôžeš kúpiť šťastie človeka.

Spočítaj koľko je jedna a jedna! Žijeme vo svete utrpenia. Stačí nepredvídané počasie, všeobecne zvýšenie cien, strah z ekonomickej krízi, bulvár a negatívne večerné správy, hodiny, dni a týždne, mesiace a roky vidieť ako politici kradnú naše peniaze, šokujúce správy, neférová chudoba v krajinách tretieho sveta, kde namiesto jedla radšej pošleme atómové rakety.
Zvyšujúca sa úroveň kriminality, xenofóbická spoločnosť, drogy ponúkané deťom, prostitúcia.
Ak si toto uvedomujete, znamená to, že buď upadnete do depresie alebo začnete nenávidieť svet. Možno nie až takto do extrémov, ale musíme si uvedomiť, že to nie je prechádzka ružovou záhradou. Nieto eštem iesto pre výchovu detí.
Pán Ronald Inglehart strávil 17 rokov nad vyriešením otázky štastia. Naivné? Politický vedci z Michiganskej univerzity robili prieskum vo viac ako 52 krajinách sveta.Odpoveď na dve jednoduché otázky je či zúčastnení po tom všetkom sa cítili šťastne a spokojne je podložená tým, že ľudia v 40 krajinách sa náhle štastnejšie cítili, kým index šťastia klesal v 12 krajinách.
Predpokladal že dáni sú najspokojnejší ľudia na svete. Je to pravda! Po prežití viac ako pol roka v Škandinávii musel priznať, že naozaj je tam niečo nezvyčajné. Dobrá ekonomika? Aktívny život? Ekologické hospodárstvo? Šport? Alebo len čisté životné prostredie?
Kto vie, ale nemôžeš sa mýliť pri rozoznávaní Dána od iného človeka. Oni sú neuveriteľne milí a nápomocní. Vedia ťa objať hoci si len dôjdeš po nejaký papier,. Ale to je len jedna strana tejto dánskej kultúry. Určite má aj svoju čiernu stránku, ale ak hovoríme vo všeobecnosti, v Dánskku je možné všetko.
Ak sa pozrieme na spodok tohto listu zistíme, že najnespokojneší národ je Zimbabwe. Sposobené je to asi poslednými neplatnými voľbami a prísahou Roberta Mugaweho.
A samozrejme obavatelia Big Apple za veľou mlákou. Či už je to prekvapujúce abo nie viac ako 81 percent američanov si myslí, že situácia za posledných 25 rokov sa zhoršila. Niet pochých, keď sa pozrieme na tie všetky katastrofické udalosti, ktoré sa tam dejú.
Je to ako tragikomédia ak sa pozrieme na tento list šťastných a neštastných krajín a na to vyhlási U.S.A : " Ak vy z OSN striktne nepotrestáte Zimbabwe, urobíme to my! A stavte sa, že sa nebudeme nikoho pýtať!"
Amerika je ten štát, ktorý sedí na dynamite. Ak by som bol na Bushovom mieste radšej by som namieril svoju energiu na záchranu mojich ľudí. Potom som si istý, že index šťastia stúpne k hviezdam.
Ale kto môže urobiť niečo proti tomu, keď hovoria peniaze?
HOci, ľudia sú niekedy šťastnejší, ak len na chvíľu, ale aj to má vie potešiť.

Lucky chocolate

Never say never is something Mathilde Epron would say. You don’t know her, but after hearing her story not only that you’ll understand why the saying is characteristic to her, but also you will remember her as she will become famous.
She is 32 years old and she is a French air hostess. Up to this point nothing to make a big fuss about. However, this work of her brought her something that we can all dream about. For all chocolate lovers, especially those who eat Kit Kat, the promotion of winning a trip to outer space is more than familiar. Then you should probably know that Mathilde is the lucky winner to fly in space.
Her story is funny. Like an average person who has to work hard for everything she has in life, Mathilde thought after buying the chocolate that she would never win because that happens to everyone else but her. As it is, she threw the wrapping of Kit Kat chocolate bar bought from her local supermarket. Probably divine intervention made her reconsider mind and take the wrapping from the bin and find the winning code marked inside.
Before going with the Rocketplane XP aircraft, a fighter aircraft with four seats, Mathilde will have to attend a four days astronaut training Oklahoma City in the United States. Her win was validated and confirmed by a spokeswoman for Nestle in France. Rocketplane is the company responsible for the competition and is handling the creation of aircrafts for cheap flights into the outer space. Cheers to her and we all hope she spends a really nice time in space writing history. Her name will definitely be remembered as the tourist that traveled into the outer space and did not spent fortunes to do it. Don't forget: never say never again!

Lucky grills

Even two years after his death Steve Irwin still brings his name on our lips and reminds us the greateness of his efforts for the preservation and rescue of the wildlife. He brought the wildlife in our houses and rendered us aware of the animals, the nature and how wonderful everything is. He left behind the Steve Irwin Conservation Foundation (renamed Wildlife Warriors), the International Crocodile Rescue, the Lyn Irwin Memorial Fund and the one that made us pronounce his name again is Australian Wildlife Hospital.
The Australian Wildlife Hospital had a special patient that received the nickname “Lucky”. I am talking about the koala that was involved in a terrible accident and managed to survive it with only minor bruises. It was a miracle some say and the truth is that the eight-year-old koala was very lucky, otherwise how would have he succeeded to survive after being hit by a car driving at 100 kilometers per hour? Moreover, he was even dragged for 12 kilometers with his head stuck in the vehicle’s grill and hanging on with only one hand.
The driver, a motorist of Brisbane, didn’t even notice that he hit the koala and luckily for the small male koala another car passes and signaled for the driver to stop. It is not enough to call it Australia's luckiest marsupial, but rather the luckiest animal alive. Australian Wildlife Hospital spokeswoman Carolyn Beaton stated that the driver was horrified by the incident and gave his permission for them to cur the car’s mesh grill and free the koala. She added that it was a miracle for “Lucky” to survive the accident, recover immediately after a couple of hours. Nonetheless he will have to stay in hospital for 45 days to recover after everything and also for his chlamydial infection to be treated.
It is not enough to call the koala the Australia’s luckiest marsupial, but rather the luckiest animal alive. He deserves his nickname completely. Get well fast, little buddy; we all wish you the best.

An entire wage on beer

Why do people like alcohol? This is a question that doesn’t cease to haunt me. As a matter of fact there is thought that beer preceded bread as a staple. However, the only sure thing about fermented beverage is that it had existed at least as early as 10000 BC. For Greek mythology lovers alcohol reminds of the God Dionysus and the frenzy he induced, arguing that in fact alcohol renders the spirit free. Would that be the reason why an Australian man spend about 1000 Australian dollars a week on beer?
According to the Northern Territory News Tuesday edition Michael Leary, a construction worker who was convicted of his seventh drink-driving charge spent the amount mentioned above. His defense lawyer tried to justify his behavior as a mean of trying to forget the break up with his partner five years ago. That makes the hypothesis of Dionysus valid as alcohol helps to put an end to care and worry, a way to free oneself.
If it was true or nor, if he used beer to forget or just for pleasure, that will remain a mystery. Yet, Leary was lucky enough to escape jail as the magistrate Vince Luppino considered that the defendant quit drinking and he added a prohibition to hold or buy beer in the next 12 months. That will be quite a challenge for the father of four children who used to spend more than some earn in a week for nothing else than alcohol. Don’t go away, his story continues…for sure!

Die letzteren Reden vom amerikanischen Präsidentschaftskandidaten Barack Obama in nichtweißen Kirchen über die Verantworung von nichtweißen Vätern und Vorschläge, George W. Bushs auf dem Glauben basierte Initiative auszubreiten, riefen viele Diskussionen hervor.
Zum Beispiel, Reverend Jesse L. Jackson gab ein paar skandalöse Kommentare ab, nachdem er nach den erwähnten Reden von Obama in nichtweißen Kirchen gefragt worden war. Im Program der Fox News, während einer der Pausen, flüsterte er einem anderen Gast zu, Obama habe "zu dem schwarzen Volk" gesprochen und sich dessen unbewusst, dass sein Mokrophon eingeschalten war, seinen Willen ausdrückte, Obama zu kastrieren.
Aktivisten glauben, dass Jacksons Äußerungen eine philosophische Debatte in der Menschenrechtsgemeinde über den Fokus von Obamas Präsidentschaftskampagne hervorgerufen habe.
Ein Mitglied der NAACO-Plattform, J. Whyatt Mondesire aus Philadelphia, sagte, es gebe viele "alte Kriegspferde wie Jesse und ich habe ernsthaftes Bedenken über seine Einstellung zur Rasse, nachdem ich seine Worte über die transzendierende Rasse gehört habe. Zu sagen, dass er an ein systematisches Rassenproblem in diesem Land nicht glaube - das geht in den eigentlichen Kern der Weise hinein, wie wir Rassenangelegenheiten in diesem Land empfinden."

Sprecher von Obamas Kampagne Bill Burton sagte, dass Obama "weiter über unsere Verantwortung uns selbst gegenüber und auch untereinander sprechen wird und natürlich nimmt er die Entschuldigung von Reverend Jackson an."
Eine Professorin der Politikwissenschaften und afro-amerikanischen Studien an der Princeton Universität Mellisa Harrs Lacewell sagte, der Vorfall würde nichtweiße Wähler von Obama nicht abbringen. Sie sagte: "Oh, die Nichtweißen sind mit Obama." Lacewell behauptet sogar, das die "Auseinandersetzung" zwischen Jackson und Obama Obama helfen könnte, mehr weiße Wähler zu gewinnen.

Pentru toti iubitorii de ciocolata, in mod special Kit Kat, promotia care ofera ca premiu o calatorie in spatiu este mai mult decat familiara. Asadar ar trebui sa stiti ca norocoasa castigatoare care va avea parte de o calatorie spatiala este Mathilde
Povestea ei este amuzanta. Precum orice om obisnuit care a trebui sa castige totul prin sudoare muncii sale, Mathilde a crezut dupa ce a cumparat ciocolata ca nu ar putea castiga niciodata acestea fiind lucruri care li-se intampla altora si nu ei. Astfel ca a aruncat ambalajul ciocolatei Kit Kat cumparata de la supermarketul local. Probabil interventia divina a facut-o sa-si schimbe decizia si sa ia ambalajul din cos, gasind astfel codul castigator marcat inauntrul ambalajului.
Inainte de a merge cu racheta Rocketplane XP, o nava spatiala de lupta cu patru locuri, Mathilde va trebui sa urmeze un curs de patru zile pentru astronauti in Oklahoma City din Statele Unite. Castigul ei a fost validat si confirmat de purtatoarea de cuvant a lui Nestle din Franta. Rocketplane este compania care a lansat competitia in colaborare cu Nestle si se ocupa de calatorii in spatiu la un pret mic. Bravo ei si noi ii uram sa aiba parte de o calatorie placuta in spatiu scriind istoria. Numele sau sigur va ramane in amintirea oameniilor ca fiind primul turist in spatiu ca nu a trebuit sa cheltuie o avere pentru el.

Sogar zwei Jahre nach seinem Tod erinnern wir uns auf den Namen von Steve Irwin und die GrĂśĂe seiner BemĂźhungen im Bereich des Schutzes und der Rettung von wild lebenden Tieren bleibt unvergessen. Er brachte die wilde Fauna und Flora in unsere Häuser und machte uns der Wichtigkeit und SchĂśnheit von Tieren und von der Natur bewusst. In Steve Irwins Naturschutzstiftung ( umbenannt auf Wildlife Warriors - Kämpfer fĂźr das Wildnisleben ),der Internationalen Rettungsorganisation fĂźr Krokodile und in Lyn Irwins Gedenksfund geht sein Leben weiter. Eine andere Einrichtung, dank der wir seinen Namen immer wieder aussprechen, ist auch das Australian Wildlife Hospital.

Bevor sie das Rocketplane XP, ein Kampfflugzeug mit vier Sitzen besteigt, muss Mathilde ein viertägiges Astronautentraining in Oklahoma City in den Vereinigten Staaten absolvieren. Ihr Gewinn wurde beurteilt und bestätigt von einer Sprecherin von Nestle in Frankreich. Rocketplane ist ein Unternehmen, das fßr den Wettbewerb verantwortlich ist. Es beschäftigt sich mit der Herstellung von Flugzeugen fßr billige Flßge ins Weltall. Para todos los amantes de chocolate, sobre todo los que comen Kit Kat, la posibilidad de ganar un viaje al espacio es mĂĄs que familiar. The Australian Wildlife Hospital tiene un paciente especial bautizado como "Lucky". Hablo de un Koala que estuvo involucrado en un terrible accidente y lo sobreviviĂł sĂłlo con daĂąos menores. Unos dicen que fue nu milagro y la verdad es que el Koala de ocho aĂąos tuvo mucha suerte. Âż Si no, cĂłmo podrĂa sobrevivir despuĂŠs de ser atropellado por un coche a 100 kilĂłmetros por hora? AdemĂĄs, arrastrado con la cabeza atrapada en la parrilla del ventilador del vehĂculo durante unos 12 kilĂłmetros, se mantuvo aferrado al coche con un brazo.
El conductor, un automovilista de Brisbane, aĂşn no notĂł que atropellĂł el Koala. Por suerte para el pequeĂąo Koala macho,el conductor lo descubriĂł cuando el coche se detuvo tras recibir seĂąales de otro vehĂculo. El koala fue nombrado el marsupial mĂĄs afortunado de Australia.
La portavoz de Australian Wildlife Hospital Carolina Beaton declarĂł que el conductor estuvo horrorizado por el incidente y dio su permiso a los bomberos para cortar la destrozada parrilla del coche y liberar el Koala. "Que haya sobrevivido prĂĄcticamente ileso es bastante milagroso," dijo Beaton y aĂąadiĂł: "Mientras, Lucky estaba en shock. Se recuperĂł rĂĄpidamente y estaba mucho mejor despuĂŠs de unas horas de descanso y comida,". Sin embargo Lucky se quedarĂĄ 45 dĂas en el hospita para recuperarse de la experiencia y recibir tratamiento por una infecciĂłn.

Východ vedie

Pohľad na reštauračnú scénu v kanadskom Montreale vyzerá v týchto dňoch akosi stroho, čo môžeme predovšetkým pripísať kategórií čínskych reštauračnýchh zariadení. Tohto roku mohla verejnosť sledovať zatvorenie dvoch čínskych reštaurácií, ktoré jednoznačne patrili medzi vychytenejšie. Vzniknutá situácia napomohla L'Orchidée de Chine dostať sa na popredné miesto v obľúbenosti čínskych reštauračných zariadení, ktoré sú v meste situované. Je však otázne, či si táto reštaurácia naozaj zaslúži tento titul.L'Orchidée de Chine by sme mohli opísať ako viacposchodovú reštauráciu. Interiér je rozdelený do štyroch jedální, v ktorých panuje neutíchajúci ruch. Chuť pripravovaných jedál sanesie v Hong-Kongskom štýle, pod ktorým si môžeme predstaviť menu s potlačenou chuťou korenín a mierným zvýraznením tukov. Menu sa od priemerných šínskych reštaurácií líši len málo.Elegantné prostredie a lokácia reštaurácie v centre mesta vyzdvihli renomé reštaurácie až na vrchol obľúbenosti. Aspoň v minulosti to tak vyzeralo. Používané ingrediencie sršali kvalitou a jedlo tuu chutilo výborne. Niekoľko rokov neskôr sa situácia javí trocha inak. Interiér ako aj atmosféra reštaurácia časom spustli. Kvalita jedla sa očividne zhoršila, čo však reštaurácii na jej obľúbenosti neuberá. Ako plynie čas, veci sa stále nezmenili a reštaurácia začala upadať vo svojom jadre. Pozitívnou stránkou veci ostáva milá a nápomocná obsluha a pretrvávajúca obľúbenosť u ľudí. Ale nič netrvá večne. Ak sa management reštaurácie nepokúsi zlepšiť staré návyky, môže to viesť k začiatku konca L'Orchidée de Chine.

Maine oil tank art project

Representatives of the Maine Center for Creativity have announced some very interesting and unusual competition. The competition is called ,,The Art All Around". An aim of this competition is to create painted designs on a huge oil tankers in South Portland. The reason, why this competition was announced is simple. Maine's Sprague Energy Corporation above ground storage tanks are among residents known as a ,,tank farm". They are noticeable form land, sea and air. It is a prominent feature on the Portland Harbor. Viewers can see this tank farm from many vantage points, nearly everyone who passes Portland see it, so it is a great place to display a works of art there. The huge field on this oil tanks will serve as a canvas. Sprague Energy Corporation owes more than 35 above ground tanks, 16 of then have been offered to artists as the canvas for their work of art. Eight entire tanks & tops and sidewalls and only tops on another 8 will be painted. The Maine Center for Creativity has set no entry fee for the competition. There are not some specific requirements on entrants, the competition is open to everyone, entrants from all states and countries are welcomed. All submitted visions will be judged. An features that are preferred are originality, artistic excellence, conceptualization or understanding of the site. The progress of the competition is following: 10 semifinalists have been chosen, they will be reduced on 5 finalists, This finalists will in August in Maine present their visions in a series of public forums. Each entrant is obliged to submit four JPG images. In the end, only one winner be selected. His or her vision will be applied to 16 tanks. The monetary award of 30000$ is prepared for the winner. Of course, the winner will not physically paint the tanks and will not supply the paint for the project. But each entrant must be aware, that ultimate painting on the tank can differ form submitted vision because industrial painters are not able to reproduce all intricate details.

Grant for ´the Clark´

The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, or simply the Clark, is a well-known art museum located in Williamstown, Massachusetts. It was founded by Robert Sterling Clark, explorer, businessman and passionate art collector, and his wife Francine. The amazing collection they managed to create includes paintings, porcelain, silver, drawings, prints. There are paintings of old masters as well as more recent works from Impressionists and members of the Barbizon School. The institute was opened to public in 1955. Today the museum, that is famous mainly thanks to unique artworks of Auguste Renoir, is building up its photography collection. Art lovers and scholars can admire beautiful collections of American and British silver. It is place that helped to bring the artistic reputation of the region of the Berkshires to another level. Besides the possibility to view the art the institute also offers various educational programs. There is art history library open to the public as well as art conservation center. The students of Williams College, which is private liberal arts college in Williamstown and to which Sterling Clark had certain ties through his father and grandfather, are allowed to the museum for free. Now the Clark Art Institute has been granted $5 million from the Starr Foundation. The money are aimed for the institute´s research and academic program that came to existence in 2000 and that has been educating curators and art historians successfully. The Clark has always sponsored different lectures and conferences that take place every year and this money will be used also to cover these expenses and thus continue to draw participants from all around the globe. No doubt money from the Starr Foundation, which has assets of approximately $3 billion and makes grants not only in culture but also medicine, education, environment an others, are in good hands.

New Orleans' Essence Festival

The Essence Music Festival wrapped up its 14th year on Sunday in a big style- with performances of singer Mary J.Blige and comedian Chris Rock .The Louisiana Superdome was full to overflowing on Sunday- everybody wanted to see Rock's return after 12 years and once again, Grammy winner, Blige. She said to reporters that she's "so honored to have been invited four years in a row." The crowd welcomed her warmly and overjoyed till the end of her appearance. However, people weren't only interested in music. One of the festival visitors, Danae Green from Pittsburgh said she was amazed by the free empowerment seminars and marketplace sponsored by the festival and held in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Green's this year visit was the second but according to her words, not the last. She said. "I'm enjoying the food, the artists and the vendors. I was able to attend the worship service. I'll definitely be back." A regular visitor of the festival, Reggie Wilson from Atlanta said that for him, the festival is a great chance to re-unite with his family. " It's one of the few times of the year that we're able to meet up together as a family. The empowerment seminars are great, the concerts are the bomb and I'll keep coming back as long as they keep having it." he said.The Superdome's main stage performers included Morris Day and The Time and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly on Sunday and LL Cool J, Musiq, Jill Scott and a tribute to Patti LaBelle on Saturday.

The summer has already started. And together with summer start also time of vacancy and of course time of various festivals and similar actions. I think many people are looking forward to have their well-earned rest during these days and want to go by the sea or in the mountain in order to relax. Some of them don't like such a rest and prefer already mentioned festivals. This can be really pleasant but there are some threats during them. Of course you can enjoy music and bands you have ever want to see and hear live, know new people with similar hobbies and interests etc. But you have to be careful about you health as well. Because temperatures are very high sun is shining and it is strong enough, what can endanger you. So when you are on fest don't forget to drink enough water or other non-alcoholic drinks and wear sun-glasses and something on your head, as cap or skimmer or something like that, what can protect you not to have sunstroke or even sunburn. Some people may think it is not fashionable, but they are false. Because health is more than a fashion. But on the other hand producers know that problem and there are still produce something new which can provide a protection and at the same time is more and more fashionable, so people are willing to purchase this product. But not everyone thinks in this way. Some people prefer their health and they don't care about other people's speech. There are some women who loves carrying parasols against the sun rays. This “miracle” can assure them pleasant shade and they don't have to use too much cream. This is supposedly the part of hippie fashion, which people used to wear approximately 40 years ago. And the right parasol should be creaming with bright colours. Other part of our population praise Vietnamese peasants hats. People who wear it claim, that there is very good, it provides you portable shade and you have both hands “free”. Besides these, there should be more than 10 degrees cooler under this hat. Consequently, hippie fashion at the Rothbury's festival is the same as it was 40 years ago. It is loose, flowing and colourful. What else would you like to wear?

Usually a group of experts in the field of the art curates a museum exhibition but at the Brooklyn Museum curators got an interesting idea. What if a crowd curates the exhibition? Common people evaluate a larger number of the works of art through the Internet and thus particular works will be selected for the exhibition. This way common taste shape the exhibition. The Brooklyn Museum announced that it is looking for photography that captures “the changing face of Brooklyn” and thousands of people got involved and sent their photographs. Then the crowd voted to select photographs for the show. The idea of general public participating in the exhibition process came from the book by New York financial and business columnist James Surowiecki called The Wisdom of Crowds, which says that crowd consisting of diverse types of people is usually wiser than expert individuals. The aim of this exhibition is to find out whether this concept can be applied also to the visual arts. 389 submissions are still online so you can take a look. They were judged by 3,344 people whose job was to rank the images on a scale from “most effective” to “least effective”. Finally 78 photographs were chosen. Click! A Crowd-Curated Exhibition is in fact a tricky experiment. Just think about it. Who is to say whether the exhibition is good or bad? Is the indicator the number of tickets sold? With art the line between “good” and “bad” is sometimes amazingly thin, if there is some. There is no model to which an artwork could be compared or according to which is could be judged. The evaluation of art is the matter of one´s subjective opinion. Therefore the question here is whether the judgment of group of people or that of individuals is the right one..

A Crowd-Curated Exhibition is in fact a tricky experiment. Just think about it. Who is to say whether the exhibition is good or bad? Is the indicator the number of tickets sold? With art the line between “good” and “bad” is sometimes amazingly thin, if there is some. There is no model to which an artwork could be compared or according to which is could be judged. The evaluation of art is the matter of one´s subjective opinion. Therefore the question here is whether the judgment of group of people or that of individuals is the right one..

For wealthy people, mainly European, buying art pieces is sort of future investment.Although some analysts feared that there will be a reducement of sales because of global slowdown, the London auction house proved that they were only speculations. Billionaires ,for example Roman Abramovich were buying only big trophies, but others offers were for no less than 500,000 pounds.To the most wanted masterpieces belonged mainly Impressionists or contemporary works. For instance, Claude Monet's "Le Bassin aux Nympheas'' was sold for the biggest price from all offered Impressionists 40.9 million pounds on June 24. However, we do not even know the nationality of this buyer because the art adviser Buckrell Pos could not tell anything about him.Lately, many new buyers appeared in this type of market, interested particularly in contemporary art which becomes more and more the type of art everyone wants to have at home. The easiest way how to get any is to go to the auction house.To the most sold contemporary artist we can include Indian Rashid Rana with her pornographic photos with the current price of $60,000 or many Western or Chinese young artists. Rashid Rana displays her art at Grosvenor gallery that got specialized in Indian art. However, how much is sold depends not only on artists, but also on presentatiors who are responsible for marketing and giving the right price. Vielleicht sieht es lustig aus, aber sie stoppen wenn sie sie radfahren sehen.Die Uniradfährern können viele interessante Sachen auf ihren Einradfahrräde wie die Skateboardisten auf ihren Skateboarden machen. The Australian Wildlife Hospital tiene un paciente especial bautizado como "Lucky". Hablo de un Koala que estuvo involucrado en un terrible accidente y lo sobreviviĂł sĂłlo con daĂąos menores. Unos dicen que fue nu milagro y la verdad es que el Koala de ocho aĂąos tuvo mucha suerte. Âż Si no, cĂłmo podrĂa sobrevivir despuĂŠs de ser atropellado por un coche a 100 kilĂłmetros por hora? AdemĂĄs, arrastrado con la cabeza atrapada en la parrilla del ventilador del vehĂculo durante unos 12 kilĂłmetros, se mantuvo aferrado al coche con un brazo.
El conductor, un automovilista de Brisbane, aĂşn no notĂł que atropellĂł el Koala. Por suerte para el pequeĂąo Koala macho,el conductor lo descubriĂł cuando el coche se detuvo tras recibir seĂąales de otro vehĂculo. El koala fue nombrado el marsupial mĂĄs afortunado de Australia.
La portavoz de Australian Wildlife Hospital Carolina Beaton declarĂł que el conductor estuvo horrorizado por el incidente y dio su permiso a los bomberos para cortar la destrozada parrilla del coche y liberar el Koala. "Que haya sobrevivido prĂĄcticamente ileso es bastante milagroso," dijo Beaton y aĂąadiĂł: "Mientras, Lucky estaba en shock. Se recuperĂł rĂĄpidamente y estaba mucho mejor despuĂŠs de unas horas de descanso y comida,". Sin embargo Lucky se quedarĂĄ 45 dĂas en el hospita para recuperarse de la experiencia y recibir tratamiento por una infecciĂłn.

Representatives of the Maine Center for Creativity have announced some very interesting and unusual competition. The competition is called ,,The Art All Around". An aim of this competition is to create painted designs on a huge oil tankers in South Portland. The reason, why this competition was announced is simple. Maine's Sprague Energy Corporation above ground storage tanks are among residents known as a ,,tank farm". They are noticeable form land, sea and air. It is a prominent feature on the Portland Harbor. Viewers can see this tank farm from many vantage points, nearly everyone who passes Portland see it, so it is a great place to display a works of art there. The huge field on this oil tanks will serve as a canvas. Sprague Energy Corporation owes more than 35 above ground tanks, 16 of then have been offered to artists as the canvas for their work of art. Eight entire tanks & tops and sidewalls and only tops on another 8 will be painted. The Maine Center for Creativity has set no entry fee for the competition. There are not some specific requirements on entrants, the competition is open to everyone, entrants from all states and countries are welcomed. All submitted visions will be judged. An features that are preferred are originality, artistic excellence, conceptualization or understanding of the site. The progress of the competition is following: 10 semifinalists have been chosen, they will be reduced on 5 finalists, This finalists will in August in Maine present their visions in a series of public forums. Each entrant is obliged to submit four JPG images. In the end, only one winner be selected. His or her vision will be applied to 16 tanks. The monetary award of 30000$ is prepared for the winner. Of course, the winner will not physically paint the tanks and will not supply the paint for the project. But each entrant must be aware, that ultimate painting on the tank can differ form submitted vision because industrial painters are not able to reproduce all intricate details.

The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, or simply the Clark, is a well-known art museum located in Williamstown, Massachusetts. It was founded by Robert Sterling Clark, explorer, businessman and passionate art collector, and his wife Francine. The amazing collection they managed to create includes paintings, porcelain, silver, drawings, prints. There are paintings of old masters as well as more recent works from Impressionists and members of the Barbizon School. The institute was opened to public in 1955. Today the museum, that is famous mainly thanks to unique artworks of Auguste Renoir, is building up its photography collection. Art lovers and scholars can admire beautiful collections of American and British silver. It is place that helped to bring the artistic reputation of the region of the Berkshires to another level. Besides the possibility to view the art the institute also offers various educational programs. There is art history library open to the public as well as art conservation center. The students of Williams College, which is private liberal arts college in Williamstown and to which Sterling Clark had certain ties through his father and grandfather, are allowed to the museum for free. Now the Clark Art Institute has been granted $5 million from the Starr Foundation. The money are aimed for the institute´s research and academic program that came to existence in 2000 and that has been educating curators and art historians successfully. The Clark has always sponsored different lectures and conferences that take place every year and this money will be used also to cover these expenses and thus continue to draw participants from all around the globe. No doubt money from the Starr Foundation, which has assets of approximately $3 billion and makes grants not only in culture but also medicine, education, environment an others, are in good hands.

The summer has already started. And together with summer start also time of vacancy and of course time of various festivals and similar actions. I think many people are looking forward to have their well-earned rest during these days and want to go by the sea or in the mountain in order to relax. Some of them don't like such a rest and prefer already mentioned festivals. This can be really pleasant but there are some threats during them. Of course you can enjoy music and bands you have ever want to see and hear live, know new people with similar hobbies and interests etc. But you have to be careful about you health as well. Because temperatures are very high sun is shining and it is strong enough, what can endanger you. So when you are on fest don't forget to drink enough water or other non-alcoholic drinks and wear sun-glasses and something on your head, as cap or skimmer or something like that, what can protect you not to have sunstroke or even sunburn. Some people may think it is not fashionable, but they are false. Because health is more than a fashion. But on the other hand producers know that problem and there are still produce something new which can provide a protection and at the same time is more and more fashionable, so people are willing to purchase this product. But not everyone thinks in this way. Some people prefer their health and they don't care about other people's speech. There are some women who loves carrying parasols against the sun rays. This “miracle” can assure them pleasant shade and they don't have to use too much cream. This is supposedly the part of hippie fashion, which people used to wear approximately 40 years ago. And the right parasol should be creaming with bright colours. Other part of our population praise Vietnamese peasants hats. People who wear it claim, that there is very good, it provides you portable shade and you have both hands “free”. Besides these, there should be more than 10 degrees cooler under this hat. Consequently, hippie fashion at the Rothbury's festival is the same as it was 40 years ago. It is loose, flowing and colourful. What else would you like to wear?

Usually a group of experts in the field of the art curates a museum exhibition but at the Brooklyn Museum curators got an interesting idea. What if a crowd curates the exhibition? Common people evaluate a larger number of the works of art through the Internet and thus particular works will be selected for the exhibition. This way common taste shape the exhibition. The Brooklyn Museum announced that it is looking for photography that captures “the changing face of Brooklyn” and thousands of people got involved and sent their photographs. Then the crowd voted to select photographs for the show. The idea of general public participating in the exhibition process came from the book by New York financial and business columnist James Surowiecki called The Wisdom of Crowds, which says that crowd consisting of diverse types of people is usually wiser than expert individuals. The aim of this exhibition is to find out whether this concept can be applied also to the visual arts. 389 submissions are still online so you can take a look. They were judged by 3,344 people whose job was to rank the images on a scale from “most effective” to “least effective”. Finally 78 photographs were chosen. Click! A Crowd-Curated Exhibition is in fact a tricky experiment. Just think about it. Who is to say whether the exhibition is good or bad? Is the indicator the number of tickets sold? With art the line between “good” and “bad” is sometimes amazingly thin, if there is some. There is no model to which an artwork could be compared or according to which is could be judged. The evaluation of art is the matter of one´s subjective opinion. Therefore the question here is whether the judgment of group of people or that of individuals is the right one..

Wissen sie was Uniradfahren ist? Uniradfahren ist das radfahren auf einem Rad. Es kann interessanter Spass für die Junge oder Adrenalin liebenden Menschen sein. Wenn man mit dem Auto in Arbeit fährt, man kann 3 Freunde in Oklahoma City Skate Park sich zu treffen sehen. Uniradfahren ist seltener Sport und nur ein Paar Menschen können es machen. Ebenso die Skater im Park können ihn nicht und machen sich Spass von den 3 Freunden: Kelly Hickman, Brian Henning und Justin Peabody. Vielleicht sieht es lustig aus, aber sie stoppen wenn sie sie radfahren sehen.Die Uniradfährern können viele interessante Sachen auf ihren Einradfahrräde wie die Skateboardisten auf ihren Skateboarden machen. Sie fahren nicht schnell, aber sie fahren in ihren Weise wie Hickman, der offensichtlich ein guter Radfährer ist. Hickman sagt, man kann nicht viel davon sehen und oft hört man fremde Bemerkunge aber die meisten von ihnen sind: " Das ist ganz cool". Kelly Hickman begann radzufahren auf der Mitterschule, vor ein paar Jahren, wenn er sein Hand beim Fussball gebrochen hat. Für diese Junge ist es ein interessanter Teil ihres Lebens. Sie magen zusammen zu treffen und manche Tricke auf den Unifahrräde zu üben. Manchmal haben sie nicht genug Zeit wegen der Schule, Arbeit oder anderen Freunde, aber sie bemühen sich jeden Tag fahrzuraden.Uniradfahren ist nicht gefährlicher Sport, der meiste Zeit man steht so man ist OK, muss sich nicht dafür Sorge machen, sagen die 3 uniradfahradende Freunde. Sie glauben, dass das Leben ist nach allem ein abgleichender Akt, der Trick ist immer in Bewegung zu sein. Also die Junge versuchen es und est ist ausgeklügelt. Es ist einfach ihrer Lebensweise.
