Obama congrats Thanksgiving day
by Zivka Deleva

After the great defeat in the mid-term elections for the Republicans, what's else left for Obama and friends but to joke about it? They are certainly going to remember this November as sad and "shellacking" (the word that the nation's father likes to use these days). The making fun is just so justified - because Democrats just showed their rivals way to the door out of the Congress. So, today is the Thanksgiving day. Every U.S. family is gathering at home for the traditional lunch, children are off school, parents don't work and the only occupation for the day is having the turkey and every other meal done perfectly. As a good exampler, Mr. Obama gathered his friends in t! he White House's Rose Garden on a Thanksgiving lunch. He invided few friends presidents. When I mentioned the joking thing, this was as well obvious for the lunch, too. He had his daughters company, too. And if you know that Americans can do just everything be a spactacle, even the turkey choice didn't go without a din. Obama explained how the two turkeys were picked out of 25 birds in, believe it or not, a competition was organized before a panel of judges and with music in the background. Oh my gosh! Obama even compared the competition to the one called Dancing with the stars, which is prettly popular in the States, where famous stars dance with a partner. "Except the stakes for the contestants was much higher. Only one pair would survive and win the big prize. Life." - Obama laughed. Obama wished all of U.S. citizens a happy holiday and didn't forget the brave soldiers that are not at home with their families. Happy Thanksgiving day to all the Americans!
