Who said God has turned his back on us? It doesn’t matter, because everyone that stated such blasphemes was wrong. Although we cannot see him, God exists in everything we do, even in the air we have. Under many forms and names, from God to Allah, or Buddha, He is our creator and takes care of us. Because we lost the power of faith, nowadays we are unable to grasp the magnitude of his presence. Somehow, Grant Stubbs and Owen Wilson just got acquainted with the ubiquity of God’s presence. On none other than the day Christians celebrate him, the two New Zealand pilots were performing a flight in a microlight airplane over the valley of Pelorus Sound. In the nearby of a ridge the engine gave signs of remaining out of gas and fortunately for them, it had enough to cross them over the ridge and land on an airfield that they did not know to be there until then. You might think it was lucky coincidence, but I prefer to say it was God’s work. The two pilots prefer to believe my version too as they prayed for a help and in the end God showed them who helped them. How? Through a sign that was just beside the place they landed: “Jesus is Lord- The Bible”. However, the sign is for everyone to interpret the way they please and I wish them good luck in their quest for truth. I like to belive that someone up there loves us and takes good care of us. It doesn’t even matter to me how he is called and the customs that people adopt to celebrate him, only the power of faith makes the difference.
