Les gens sont vraiment fous. Quand j'ai entendu qu'une sorte de poulpe a été choisie pour prévoir qui sera le vainqueur du Coup du monde de FIFA 2010 je dois me dérider. Quoi d'autre peut-il faire un homme avec le sens commun ? Mais maintenant cet animal avec de longues tentacules est un super héros et une mascotte de victoire espagnole du football. Paul, dont le nom de poulpe, est devenu une sensation culturelle en prévoyant correctement le finale entre l'Espagne et les Pays Bas. Maintenant l'aquarium allemand de la vie de mer, où loge Paul, reçoit des centaines de demandes et d'offres des Espagnols pour le transfert de Paul de l'All! emagne. Les Espagnols pensent probablement que l'Allemagne ne peut pas assez évaluer Paul. Comme le porte-parole de zoo, Amparo Fernandez, a informé, un montant non spécifié d'argent a été offert pour acheter Paul. Comme il semble le zoo de Madrid ferait n'importe quoi juste pour obtenir Paul, le héros national, en Espagne. Ils ont par exemple proposé d'échanger des animaux avec l'aquarium allemand en échange de Paul. Cette petite créature est si populaire qu'une ville espagnole du nord-ouest ait même essayé de l'emprunter. L'ironie était que ce poulpe devrait être un « membre honoraire » à un festival de fruits de mer. Quoique le montant ait été tout à fait intéressante (un homme d'affaires ait offert 40.000 dollars) et les organisateurs assuraient l'aquarium allemand de la sûreté de Paul (car le poulpe est une délicatesse dans les restaurants en tou! te l'Espagne), cela n'était pas assez. Le propriétai! re de l' aquarium de la vie de mer à Oberhausen en Allemagne ainsi que de Paul a non seulement refusé ces offres, mais a aussi bien résisté avec succès à toutes les autres offres par lesquelles les gens d'Espagne essayaient d'acquérir cette mascotte pour eux-mêmes. Où est-ce que va Paul finir enfin, ce n'est que la question du temps, mais je peux vous dire maintenant, c'est vraiment une histoire drôle !

People are simply crazy. When I heard that some kind of octopus was chosen to foretell who will be the winner of 2010 FIFA World Cup I just smiled. What else could a man with common sense do? But now is this animal with long tentacles a super hero and mascot of Spanish football victory. Paul, as the octopus’ name is, has become a pop culture sensation by correctly predicting the Spain-Netherlands final. Now the German Sea Life aquarium, where Paul is living, is receiving hundreds of requests and offers from Spaniards for Paul’s transfer from Germany. Spanish people probably think Germany cannot evaluate Paul enough. As informed Zoo spokeswoman Amparo Fernandez, ! an unspecified amount of money was offered to purchase Paul. As it seems Madrid Zoo would do anything just to have Paul, national hero, in Spain. They for example offered to exchange animals with the German aquarium in return for Paul. This little creature is so popular that one northwestern Spanish town even tried to borrow him. The irony was that the octopus should be “honorary friend” at a seafood festival. Even though the amount was quite interesting (a businessman offered $40,000) and organizers were assuring German aquarium of Paul’s safety (as octopus is a delicacy in restaurants throughout Spain), it was not enough. The Sea Life aquarium in Oberhausen in Germany as Paul’s owner not only declined these offers, but successfully resists any other offers by which people from Spain tries to acquire this mascot for themselves. Where Paul finally ends up, only time will show, but I can tell you now, this is really a ridiculous story!
